It was in a small pottery studio in Copenhagen that the idea for StanleyLynch truly took shape. Watching a master potter transform a lump of clay into an elegant, perfectly balanced mug, Sarah realized that she wanted to share this beauty with the world. She wanted to create a brand that would celebrate the artistry of ceramics while making exceptional, design-forward drinkware accessible to everyone.

The name StanleyLynch came from combining her grandfather's first name, Stanley, with her mother's maiden name, Lynch. Both had been sources of inspiration and support throughout her life, encouraging her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. The name represents the blend of tradition and innovation that defines our brand.

Our Journey

StanleyLynch officially launched in 2020, just as the world was beginning to grapple with the challenges of the pandemic. As remote work became the norm and people spent more time in their homes, the demand for thoughtfully designed, high-quality drinkware surged.

We partnered with artisans in Portugal, Japan, and the United States, each bringing their unique cultural perspectives and techniques to our collections.

In 2021, we expanded our presence through partnerships with select retail locations, creating spaces where customers could experience our products firsthand and connect with the stories behind each design. These locations became more than just retail spaces—they evolved into community hubs where we host workshops, artist talks, and events celebrating the art of ceramics and design.

Today, StanleyLynch has grown into a global brand, shipping to customers in over 25 countries. Our team has expanded to include designers, artisans, customer service professionals, and logistics experts, all united by a shared passion for beautiful, functional design. Yet despite our growth, we remain committed to our founding principles and the personal touch that defined our early days.
